2. Purchase & Payment
OwnInvoice is sold as a one-time purchase. The price at the time of checkout is the full price you pay. There are no recurring fees, subscriptions, or hidden charges.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. Prices are listed in USD and may change at any time, but changes will not affect existing purchases.
3. Updates
Your purchase includes free lifetime updates to OwnInvoice Desktop. This includes bug fixes, security patches, and new features added to the v1.x line. We reserve the right to charge for major version upgrades (e.g., v2.0) at a discounted upgrade price for existing customers.
4. Refund Policy
All sales are final. Please take advantage of the free 7-day trial to evaluate OwnInvoice before purchasing. See our Refund Policy for full details.
5. Your Data
OwnInvoice stores all data locally on your computer. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We are not responsible for data loss due to hardware failure, accidental deletion, or any other cause.
We recommend using the built-in backup feature to regularly back up your data.
6. Third-Party Integrations
OwnInvoice integrates with third-party services (Stripe, PayPal, Square, GoCardless, Authorize.Net, SMTP email providers). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or performance of third-party services.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
OwnInvoice is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grit Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of OwnInvoice.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software.
9. Termination
Your license remains valid as long as you comply with these Terms. We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms, including sharing or distributing your license key. Upon termination, you must cease using the software and delete all copies.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on our website. Continued use of OwnInvoice after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
